Jim our founder and CEO moved to Maricopa from Ohio over 30 years ago. Jim saw the need for a community foodbank and well the rest is history. From picking up and delivering food to playing Santa for those with sensory needs he's just all around great guy. Without Jim's vision none of this would have been possible. We are very happy to have Jim as our CEO and thankful that God has sent him.
Mike is our president. Mike came to us in 2017 to help with our hurricane relief project for Rockport Texas. He immediately became heavily involved in day to day operations. As of 2020 Mike has gone from hands on to more a more administrative role so that he could focus more on the day to day operations of the church. Mike is in the background scheduling maintenance, securing and purchasing equipment, managing our finances and focusing our future as a foodbank. We thank God he sent us Mike and look forward to what comes next.
Alice our founder and Vice President moved to Maricopa with Jim. Alice is an integral part of our organization keeping us up to date with our paper work and records. She is our shining star and an inspiration to us all. From her food safety knowledge to her budget mindedness she's an asset to our organization. She also has the most important job of keeping Jim in line. All jokes aside she's a pretty special part of making all of this work for the glory of God and we appreciate her very much.
Jennifer is our director of development. Jennifer came to us in 2017 and we have been forever grateful since. Jennifer does everything from social media to merchandising food. She organizes the majority of our fundraising and even writes grants for us. Jennifer looks for every opportunity to help others and even knows a thing or two about autobody work. We are very thankful that God has blessed us with her talents.
Tim is our warehouse manager. Tim joined our team in 2019. Each week Tim tirelessly keeps track of inventory, reorganizes and puts away shipments as well as maintains all of our equipment. As we have grown over the past few years Tim has been there to help us in whatever capacity he is able. We thank God everyday that he sent us Tim.
We take donations from local businesses and use them to fight hunger. Help us connect with donors and with people in need.
Every Saturday we hold a pantry distribution event. We serve between 800 and 1000 families weekly. It takes a large team to pull it off successfully in only 4 hours. Come join us!
