Just $10 can help feed a family for a week.

We are completely volunteer staffed. All funds go back to feeding the community. We have a large overhead due to the refrigerated trailers that are run on diesel fuel. Summer time we use 100 gallons of diesel fuel a day.
Short answer, we are working on it. We have operated for close to 20 years without any government funding. Meaning your $5-10 donation keeps us going. With that no funds were available for any other viable option. Until now. We are in the process of building our very own warehouse with electric refrigeration to house 4 tractor trailer loads of food at one time.
YES! In March of 2022 all 6 of our trailers were destroyed in a fire. Rather then spend money buying new trailers we decided that it would be best to build the warehouse the community so desperately needs. We are actively working with our board of directors, contractor, and county officials to make it come true.
No that's not how we do things at Maricopa Pantry. It's not just a warehouse. It will have a community center with offices, and conference rooms. It will include a soup kitchen to serve prepared meals to those in need. Later we will add laundry and showering facilities for those who don't have access. This is a building that will serve our community for many years and hopefully help us reach and meet the needs of many more.
